Marsilio Ficino, one of the most important figures of the Renaissance, was not only the translator of Plato and the Corpus Hermetica, but also the author of original works on health and astrology. Amongst these is the third Book of Life, a radical volume of astrological magic which draws power from the Picatrix but re-focuses its light onto the achievement of long life, the restoration of radiant health, and the cultivation of joyful clarity. Come, and meet Marsilio at this triple-crossroad of astrology, medicine, and magic for a wondrous tour of his inspiring perspective and immanently practical methods.

Workshop Description:
Expand your astrology into the higher vibrations of your natal chart through the explorations, activations, integrations, and applications of harmonic astrology presented and performed in this interactive workshop of wonder and wisdom. First, we’ll apply the ancient arts of sacred geometry, musical harmony, embodied astronomy, and number magic to derive the meanings of the higher harmonies, then we’ll learn why, when, and how to use harmonic charts in our astrological practice. Plenty of chart examples, including a few nativities of those in the room, will prove harmonics to be a powerful tool that can be used with any astrological paradigm.
Workshop Description:
When considering the many conditions in Hellenistic astrology that contribute to a planet’s expression, it can be a challenge to balance and synthesize contradictory indications into a clear understanding. Learn how to arrive at a detailed, integrated, and useful interpretation that explains the particular good or poor way that each factor operates, rather than simply reducing everything into a number. Hands-on with group participation, bring your charts. Some knowledge of traditional astrology recommended.
Workshop Description:
Unravelling what planet is causing a health issue is only half the journey when working with someone’s health chart. What do we do once we know where a problem is coming from? The planets have been given rulership over herbs, foods, nutrients, activities etc. In this workshop, Kira will explore how to support a planet when under stress, when to use treatment by sympathy or by opposition and explore the timing of how the body heals. This is a practical class with much take-home information for your own natal chart.

Avoiding the trap of correlating astrological ‘things’ to psychological ‘things’, we’ll explore practical ways astrologers can render diagnostic categories translucent to deeper stories of soul astrological symbols evoke.
