Astro*Carto*Graphy as developed by Jim Lewis has become a staple of modern astrological practice. It works well, but it often misses places to which we feel connected. A second technique, Local Space, is equally powerful and typically fills in the blanks when the two systems are used simultaneously. It also has the advantage of being applicable to small distance scales, like an astrological Feng Shui.
