Using the mytho-shamanistic approach of Shamanic Astrology, the significance of the natal moon position will be explored. The twelve moon positions can be viewed as twelve different tribes or twelve mystery schools that we have previously been part of. This approach considers the moon to be both masculine and feminine, and far more than emotions or instincts. Rather, the moon is a veritable storehouse of impressions of your previously learned skill set, your attitudes, habits, addictions, and expectations. And, with each moon position comes a specific vanity and control program. This approach views all twelve with compassion and without judgment; there are no good or bad places. Such compassion can create the spaciousness for letting go and moving on to a different place on the wheel of life.
