I have long said that astrology is not so much important in itself but for what it is an instance or example of. Something speaks to us in astrology and does so by other means as well. This “something” is the source of the living energy of the universe and it has been spoken of in many religious traditions. It has been designated by many different names and analyzed in many theological contexts. This lecture will explore this and present my personal conclusions as to what this is, why it is important, and why astrologers need to approach their craft and its tasks with great reverence.
