Oken, Alan – The Horoscope of Sevens – A Door to the Soul

Traditional exoteric astrology is based on 12: the 12 houses and the 12 signs. Esoteric, soul-centered astrology is founded on a base of 7. While exoteric astrology works to explore the psychology of the individual and his or her relationship to environment, esoteric astrology reveals the nature of consciousness the lives within the chart. This lecture serves as an introduction to the nature of the Seven Rays as they apply to the planets and the signs. We will also examine how the knowledge of the Rays may be incorporated into humanistic astrology.
