Sedgwick, Philip – Makemake, Haumea (and other planetary add-ons)

Several new plutoid/dwarf planets linger at the edge of our solar system, demanding our attention. The first south Pacific planetary namesake, Makemake (mackay-mackay) comes to us from Rapa Nui complete with intense and evocative ceremonial procedures. Is there a way to make this useful, so at the end of the proverbial day things feel groovier? Yes, but only if you attend the lecture. Thomas Edison had this body conjunct his Sun! Then there’s the enigmatic planet, Haumea, sky fresh from Hawaii. This creation deity reminds you what you’re supposed to do once your done with Pluto – or when Pluto’s done with you. We’ll throw in some Altjira (it’s Australian, mate), too.
