Trinkaus, Emily – Venus – Mary Magdalene and the Reemerging Feminine

Here at the end of the Age of Pisces, Mary Magdalene is making a dramatic comeback – one of many expressions of the reemerging divine feminine. This talk explores the intriguing links between Christianity’s “hidden goddess” and the planet Venus, including evidence that Mary Magdalene was not a penitent whore or Jesus’ wife but a Venusian sacredly sexual priestess. We’ll trace the parallel lives of these two goddesses within the context of the closing Piscean Age, and consider a new interpretation of the astrological Venus in light of the shifting stories of the feminine.
